April - 1996

" Blue Print for Action" conference. Was developed by Ron Mace’s

assistant Richard Duncan both with the Universal Design Program from the University of N.C., Chapel Hill. It was formed as a National Home Modification Task Force consisting of 20 of the Nation’s leading Accessible experts.

November - 1992

The Repetitive Strain Injury Support Group- Lecture and present tation on seating and computer ergonomics for Newsday’s press room.

October 1992 - 1994

New York University. Dr. Dina Loebels Junior and Senior Occupational Therapy classes on " Physical Adaptations and Barrier Removal"

May – June 1992

Arthritis Foundation of New York and Westchester. I gave Several

Lectures on Accessibility Design and types of equipment for barrier free removal at Burke Rehabilitation Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases

in New York.

July – 1991

Presentation and Testimony to the "National Council on Disability, regarding "Service Delivery Policy and Availability of Funding Sources" held by the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Portland, Maine.

October – 1990

Technology Showcase ’90…"A World of Possibilities" I facilitated a panel discussion between nationally known lecturers and the general public,held at Hofstra University, Uniondale, New York.

July - 1990

PEER Regional Network Conference, a project of the National Center On Employment and Disability", held at the Human Resources Center at Hofstra University.

August – 1989

NHRA, (National Housing & Rehabilitation Association), Realtors and Building Owners meeting on concepts for providing Accessibility and how to market these concepts to the physically challenged and senior markets. Held in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

July – 1989

Lecture and Presentation to Physicians, Nurses , Rehab.Engineers, and Hospital Administrators on Accessibility and Product Design for a functional work and home environment. Held by Allied Services at the Tri – Rehabilitation Hospital in Scranton, PA.

June – 1988

Lecture and Presentation at RESNA / ECART, A joint European conference on the advancement of Rehabilitation Technology. Held in Montreal, Canada.

July -1986

Resna, "Conference on Service Delivery", a program developed &

sponsored by Resna (Rehab Engineers Society of North America), we helped to develop national legislation and policy on technology related products and services for the, " Individuals with Disabilities Act of 1988, held in Petit Jean National Park, Little Rock, AR.

RESNA, PRA (Professional Rehab. Association), Massapequa Chamber of Commerce, SSI, AIAA, AIA, Nassau County Department of Rec. & Parks.

Service Award:

"Proclamation from Nassau County"….from the town supervisor for providing and assisting in services to the Handicapped community.
