Bio


Presently:

I represent two companies in the Accessible Field. 1) Mobility Elevator & Lift Co., from New Jersey who provides, installs and services, Stair-lifts, Vertical Lifts, Inclined Platform Lifts and Elevators.2) Kerzner Construction who provides services mostly to the commercial end of the construction market, has worked with me since 1985 by providing " Turn Key" services. Together with John Bracco, our Architect we can offer a complete Design, Construction and Installation Package. Whether it be a Bathroom, Ramp or Elevator, we have been providing these services for over thirty years.


June 2002 - 2004

Diversity Partners, LLC - Accessibility Engineering and Product Development, I have worked to develop the Adapt-Ability Program for the Hotel Motel and Resort Industry. My responsibilities include working to develop Accessible Products and assist in the selection and use of these items for persons with disabilities. We have also worked with Avis Car Rental Co. in their National Avis Access program as well as with Cendant and Neutrogenia Co’s.


Sept. 1992 - July 1999

Hadley-Brickhouse Accessibility Associates,Inc. - Vice President of Hadley-Brickhouse, my responsibilities included the design and product selection for hundreds of accessible home renovations per year for persons with dis abilities and seniors who wanted to maintain their indep endence. I also helped in the coordination of several home construction shows a year which illustrated our services.


July 1982- Sept. 1992

Hygeia Medical Supply and Hygeia Design Co.,Inc. - As director and Co-Founder of “Hygeia’s Accessibility House “ we showcased barrier-free design concepts and highly enabling products for persons with disabilities. The house opened up to the general public in January ‘83 and was the first of its kind in the country. We averaged 2000 visitors a year from around the world.


May 1975 - June 1982

Dorsch / Sunrise Surgical & Orthopedic Companies - Worked in the field of Prosthetics and Orthopedics construct- ing artifical limbs and braces. I worked with physicians and serviced several clinics from Long Island to Upstate N.Y.


Education: 1971-1973

I attended Hofstra University. My undergraduate work was in Bio-chemistry and Physics. My Minor was Art and Design.
