"The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple." -- Psalm 119:130

Hello. Thank you for visiting my homepage. I am a 55 yr old married (separated) mom of two. I have an 15 yr old at home and 34 yr old married & living in a town not too far from me. My mother passed away on February 25th, 2007. We will miss her deeply and share in the joy that she is where we all strive to go someday. I am homeschooling my daughter using an unschooling method. I love to cook, make scrapbook pages and do home decorating. I also enjoy chatting with online friends.

I was born in 1959, with one hand. I lost vision in my left eye due a tricycle accident at age 3. With one hand and a marble looking blind eye, I was the center of school kid's teasing for years. I went through depression at a very young age, but was still able to get through it by discovering that I had an art talent. I was drawing still life at age 9. At age 15, I started painting Business Windows at holiday times. I did that for 17 years, earning money every Christmas to buy my family nice gifts. Growing up, our home was a rambunctious one because I had 4 brothers. At age 20 I became a single mom. It was the most enjoyable experience I'd ever know raising my daughter. Now my baby born in 1980 had my first grandson November 16th 2004. I'm such a proud grandma! My how time flies! I give full credit of this miracle solely to the Lord God and his gracious love.

My daughter was named after both her grandmothers. Her 1st name is Mary after my mother pictured here. Middle named "Elizabeth" after her other grandmother, Elizabeth(RIP 1923-1998).
