Membership Guidelines
We would like to encourage participation by all general members each year.
Participation by the membership is necessary to ensure that the guild
continues to exist and to thrive.
Members in Good Standing
To qualify as Members in good standing all general members are required to:
- have membership dues paid by October 31st each year;
- have all library books returned and fines paid;
- have sold a book of raffle tickets or has returned raffle tickets by 11:00 a.m. Friday on show day
or is responsible for the cost of the book (if applicable that year);
- have performed at least one activity from the following list:
- paint a memory box;
- paint a raffle prize;
- teach a monthly paint-in workshop or do a demonstration;
- be a member of the executive, an appointed officer or committee chair;
- assist officers and/or committee chairs as follows;
- Newsletter
- assist with mailing of newsletter
- Hospitality
- send out cards as needed to members
- help with June and December luncheons
- provide food for monthly meeting coffee breaks
- Program
- Assist during seminars such as physical set-up, teacher support, assist with refreshments, luncheon,
clean-up, monitors, cash sales.
