take them down life’s path.
The love in their eyes
shows us where their future lies.
The promises they’ve made
teach us that even though memories fade
they are never really gone.
And before long
they’ll be as vivid as they were before.
Just like the door
that never really closed to their young life,
on this day when he made her his wife.
