Any resemblence is purely coincidential. This is my own design.

You will need PSP7 which you can download a demo here:

ULEAD ART TEXTURE Filter Here, click button:

This is my first ever tutorial so bear with with me, LOL. Are you ready to have some fun? Let's get started.

Open NEW IMAGE 300x300 TRANSPARENT. ADD New Layer, go down to your SELECTION TOOL, this looks like a little square. Select RECTANGLE, Feather 0 antialias checked. Now we are going to place a long rectangle. The beauty of this is you decide on the width of your fence bars.

Flood Fill with Black, Go To EFFECTS, 3D EFFECTS, Inner Bevel of your choice.

I used the preset round bevel.

Now, I make another bar alittle shorter than my first, Flood Fill, add inner bevel.

Now repeat for third bar, making this one shorter.

Repeat for flood fill and inner bevel.

Merge VISIBLE here.

Now go to EDIT, COPY, PASTE as NEW SELECTION.

Move your bars to line up with the first 3 bars. Now you have your fence/ gate made.

But wait what about some decorations? This will be entirely up to you if you wish decorations.

But for mine I ADDED NEW LAYER, Click on the large A .

Click on your fence image.

I used webdings of my choice.

Now to get the one I wanted.

What I did here was open a NEW IMAGE at this point and put my web dings on it. Then added an inner bevel of my choice. Then SELECT NONE.

Now using the LASSO Tool, SELECT the ding you wish to use.

Now go to EDIT, COPY, NOW close or minimize this image. Now, we can PASTE as NEW LAYER on our original.

Here you will need to resize for it to fit on your fence. Go TO IMAGE, RESIZE, 75% Maintain Ratio Aspect checked , REIZE all Layers unchecked.

If this is still not small enough for your tastes resize again till you achieve the look your desiring.

This can now be tubed for a later use or Merge Flatten.

I hope I have covered all the steps to do this. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. (NOTE: On the Free Filter you may either use it or not. This project can be made either way. I used it on the dings to give a different look to them before adding the inner bevel. Play around and have fun with your creation)
