This particular tabletop lectern/book stand is made of the highest quality solid ash, hand chosen for it's beauty. It is stained in Dark Walnut, and sealed with semi-gloss polyurethane.
The three panels on the top surface are solid ash, covered in genuine distressed brown leather. Hand designed and embossed representations of Wind, Fire, and Water grace each of the panels, providing symbolism, beauty, and a soft cushion for your prized book, while Earth is represented in the wood of the lectern it's self.
The top of the lectern is hinged with decorative polished brass, and opens to reveal a black velvet lined box for keepsakes, spells or amulets. The bottom of the lectern is also lined with velvet to protect your table or alter, as well as the stand.
This is an artisan piece, a fitting display for your most valued book and sure to be an heirloom cherished for generations.
This lectern/book stand was designed to securely support large, heavy books. It is solid ash, and weighs approximately 16 lbs. The table surface is approximately 14" x 19", and the unit stands 17" high.
This is the perfect lectern or book stand for someone who appreciates quality and attention to detail. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. All questions will be answered by the craftsman himself.

This is a custom lectern we created for someone who plans to use it in their alter room to display a very special Grimoire by Brahm's.
She choose Ash, stained with an antiquing technique for extra darkness (which also gave it a very nice glossy finish).
She also choose a rich, dark purple velvet to line the box, as it matched some of the other tools she uses for her craft.
She decided on a fine quality black leather for the panels, and she even sent ideas for the designs to be used on the panels.
She also gave us the dimensions of the Grimoire she plans to display on it, so thatwe were able to size the lectern more appropriately.
This lectern was fun to do, and we appreciated all the sweet words she sent during the process. She has a wonderful imagination! Her next lectern will no doubt be every bit as amazing as this one turned out.
Your's can be too... tell us your ideas! Let us create a lectern you would be proudto display your most treasured books on.
Our only limitation is your imagination..
