Shown below is the original photo and the scanned and cropped image which was used to create the picture above. Note that a slight angle when taking the picture avoids problems with the flash showing in the painted area. As a result, however, the painting is slightly distorted and missing its edges (and frame). If you are getting your work professionally scanned, I can use those images. On the other hand, I am very pleased with the results I am getting using this method. If you use a digital camera to take the photos, I can use those images also.
