The first issue and second,
by the Franklin Mint;
The "Diana,Princess of Wales Portrait Doll",
and the "Diana,Princess of Style" doll.
Both dressed in the replicas of famous gowns
designed by Catherine Walker.
The Portrait doll was the first
in this series of porcelains,
and came wearing a stunning version
of the Queen Mary tiara, the only
doll in this series to be issued with it.
A lovely tribute doll to begin with.
The Princess of Style Doll,
second issued porcelain,
was lovely as well and she happens
to be the twin to the first in body sculpt.
Only difference being one arm positioned
at her side, and face and eyes painted differently.
Collector's have come to appreciate this second
dolls more youthful look, and lovely shoulders for
custom made earlier Diana fashions.
This second doll has a solid torso,
another difference.

And here are two photos of Diana,
without the bolero jacket,
and as she wore her hair with
the blue sheath dress.
It was said, Diana loved to wear
the "Elvis" dress when she was sporting
a good tan,a shame we never got a tan Diana doll!
