Franklin Mint's porcelain portrait doll
"Diana,Princess of Culture"
Dressed in a replica of the gown
worn on a visit to Thailand in 1988,
designed by Catherine Walker.
Many of Diana' gowns reflected
the host country she was visiting,
like this sari-style gown,
perfect on Diana no matter
where she was!
The Mint failed to include the
hair flowers,
as shown in the actual photos below,
with my attempt included also.
My flowers are sewn with thread to the wig.
The doll's bouquet is also a bit
skimpy compared to the real
one,and we didn't get this gold bracelet
or her engagement ring.Still I love the doll.
