About Me:

My name is Lisa Zolfarelli and I was born in Walnut Creek California and raised in Pleasanton, California, which is in the Tri-Valley Bay area. I am 23 years old and moved to Sacramento two years ago. I transferred from Las Positas junior college in Livermore California and now continue my education at Sacramento State University. I am a graphic design major and hope to someday get into opening title sequences to movies.

I am 3/4 Italian and 1/4 Peruvian. My great grandparents on my dads side are from Sicily and my great grandparents on my moms side are from Bari, Italy and Lima, Peru. I come form a fairly big family, my dad is one of three children and my mom is one of six. Holidays are definitely not boring.

The three little people that keep me motivated are my nieces and my nephew. They are two-year-old triplets! I just love them to death. They are one of my best friends children. My mom always makes fun of me because she says that when I go home to visit, it's always to see them and not her. One of my favorite things is bath time! I can remember my mom sitting next to the tub with me and I just love sitting in there watching them play and connecting with them on a different level.

Schools I attended:

          Donlon Elementary

            Pleasanton Middle

            Foothill High

Hobbies:

I am a movie buff! I love going to the movies and renting them, even splurging and buying a few. I would have to say that my all time favorite movie is Jerry Maguire. It is an awesome movie. Some others that you may want to check out; Antwone Fisher, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, In America ( I highly recommend it), Forces of Nature, Miss Congeniality, Big Fish, Man on Fire, and many, many more, but those are just to name a few.

I am not a big reader but there are some very good books that I have read. Mitch Albom has written a few good ones. I have read two of his book, Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven. They were so good, and very easy to read.

I am a fan of the outdoors. I go camping at least twice a year, and I love the water! Below you can view some photos of me and my family at Icehouse Reservoir.

Occupation:

I am a full time student, but to bring the money in I work for the North Sacramento School District as a preschool sub. Mostly my job title is that I help teachers when other teachers are sick or out. I work mostly with the after school program, but on occasion I will do a morning for the state preschool program.

I also baby sit on Wednesday mornings for three children. I watch a two-year-old and six month old twins. I really enjoy it because it gives me a break from school and I can just relax and hang out and play. I guess I am a kid at heart.

Interesting Places I have visited:

I took a three-week trip to Europe right after I graduated from high school. I visited seven different countries in three weeks.  We went through England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Amsterdam. I would have to say that out of the places in each country, I liked Switzerland and Venice Italy the most. I would definitely go back there.

Favorite comic/cartoon character:

Growing up I was a huge fan of Aquaman. He was cool. He could swim and breathe in the water and for a kid that is just cool. If I had to choose today I don't think that there is just one that I like. I am not really into all the super hero stuff anymore. Cartoon wise, I am a Winnie the Pooh fan.

Most embarrassing moment:

When I was in eighth grade my friends’ thought that it would be funny to pants me during passing period. Luckily for me I was right in front of the bathroom and was able to run in and hide. Hopefully nobody saw it.

Favorite Celebrity…

I have to pick just one?? Lets see…. Hmmm… I would have to say Jennifer Aniston. I think that she is just an amazing actor.
