"My name is Susan Maggio Larberg and I live in beautiful Brooksville, Hernando County, Florida, the "Nature Coast" on the Gulf of Mexico, about 45 minutes North of Tampa. I came here 18 years ago from Long Island, New York. I owned a crafts business for 12 years and sold it last year. I had written a book on designing unique gift baskets (available here) and started designing my vintage-inspired jewelry again. I started selling it on Ebay. Then a dear artist friend of mine, Kim from The Mystic Garden, introduced me to ATC's and altered objects, saying how much I would love it. I never even heard of this before. Well, I found my passion!!! I just love designing ATC's and anything that can be altered. I've been doing it for years for myself and didn't know it was a new type of genre in the art world! I have so many ideas that I find I can hardly sleep at night making mental lists of what to make the next day! A true craftsperson, wouldn't you say, as I do not see myself as an artist, but a creative person who has so many wonderful and unique designs to share with those who will appreciate it.
