No matter how hard one tries, nor how hard one cares,
The inevitable always seems to happen? You start a relationship; you have all the right chemistry… You seem to say all the right things, you make them laugh and smile. All seems to be right with the world. But like every relationship in your life, it is short lived. The laughter no longer comes The smiles cease to happen… You somehow manage to push them further and further away from you. Nothing you do is right anymore. You tell yourself inside your head, you have got to do better, You have got to do better. Telling yourself that this is the relationship isn’t going to end up like all the rest. But no matter how hard you try, you see the distance grow between you. Further and further apart you fall…. No more talking to each other, You try, but no response, the other tuning a deaf ear to your words. No more touching each other, You try to reach out, just to hold them, but your attempts are in vain, Each try is cast down and rejected. You try with all that is in you, and still…. Like all the rest, this relationship to is Destined to fail. You crawl back in your shell. Never to be seen or heard again. No more trying to talk, No more trying to care, No more trying to love, As each time you try, Each relationship gets harder. You know your destiny. You know it is failure --Tatty-- |
