Welcome to part five of my pictures from Delos, birth place of Apollo and Artemis and one of the cultural,and economic
centers of the Aegean pre Christ. These pictures again, are from the Roman settlement to the south. The buildings have survived since the first
century A.D. and remind me much of Pompeii. My hat off to those Roman
engineers for building structures that last 2000 years. For more information on the island, please see my
