The Persian market was important to 15-18th century China. For the porcelain industry, the prized mohammedan blue is what they used for that brilliant & prized underglazed blue. And the Persian court in return prized the incomparable hard paste porcelain.
This is a huge charger made for the market with very characteristic geometric & floral decorations which cover the entire surface. The Topkapi Museums in Istanbul has the largest collection of this type of chargers displayed on the walls. This is a one of a kind and very displayable 17th c Chinese export charger.

Reddish color above is due to some background light. Not in charger.
A charger of similar design is shown in the top photo in page 214 of Chinese Porcelain Collections in the Near East Topkapi & Ardebil Vol II,, by T. Misugi; Hong Kong University Press, 1981, ISBN 962209005-2. This is the extensively updated revision of the 1972 Gakugei Shorin 1972 edition by the Topkapi Sarayi Museum. It is the standard work on Persian export ware from China.
