The "Hollywood" sign can be seen in the distance out the
hotel window. A very naked MAN looks out at the city below.

The TV image comes back on, this time with another couple
making love. JONATHON, an attractive young man in his
twenties , is sitting on his living room floor. He has
what appears to be some sort of digital camera hooked up to
his television set. We cut back to the screen where we
realize that the black and white image of the passionate
couple, is this young man Jonathon and another young girl.

(almost at a whisper)

This next transition will be a tricky one. The desired
effect is we would like to slowly zoom in on the television
screen until eventually the grainy screen blends in and we
see the two ( JONATHON and ANGELINA ) walking down the
sidewalk and then getting into JONATHON'S vehicle.
INT. JONATHON'S CAR - DAY
This scene is meant to be a touching one. Really there
shouldn't be any conversation between the two, but rather a
certain uneasiness. An uneasiness that can be sensed until
JONATHON finally pulls up in front of ANGELINA'S house.
Jonathon pulls up outside of Angelina's house.
He turns off the ignition, looks at Angelina.

JONATHON

This next scene takes place right after and maybe even
possible during the final few credits of the opening sequence.
The credits would ideally be placed against a black screen
and would gradually fade in and out of view in the proper
order.
Jonathon pulls his car into the Appleridge Gym parking lot.
He gets out of his car and proceeds to the main entrance.
As he approaches a couple walks out. Jonathon walks in
between an "incredibly in love" couple as if they weren't
there. An older lady is walking out of the gym as he walks
in. He pauses long enough to open the door for her before
continuing on.
INT. GYM - DAY
A COUPLE is working out on the treadmills.
A BOY is watching his mother do an aerobics class.
Jonathan just walks straight through the gym and heads
toward the employee only door. He walks by TRACY, the gym's
ditsy receptionist.
TRACY:

INT. GYM HALL - DAY
Jonathon heads down a LONG hallway with offices on either
side. As he approaches the end of the hall, SPOTTER BOB

I started making some real money.
Then I decided to start getting
even with all the girls that

JONATHON

Jonathon walks Erica and Amanda to the door. When they get
close to the entrance, Jonathon stops when a small boy, who
has just vomited on himself and the floor, bars their way.

Jonathon puts his hand above Erica's waist and directs her
and Amanda around the vomit on the floor.

The little boy just wimpers. Jonathon grabs a napkin from
the desk and wipes the boy off.

We begin to follow ERICA and AMANDA out of the restaurant.

EXT. ZACK'S HOUSE - DAY
Jonathon pulls up in front of ZACK'S house.
Jonathon get out and approaches the house , inspecting
everything along the way. As he heads towards Zack, who's
in his doorway, Jonathon removes his sunglasses.
JONATHON
Zack Burns ?
ZACK
Yes ? I take it you are the guy
who called about my F-150 ?
JONATHON
Yep.
ZACK
Funny. You don't look like the
truck type.
JONATHON
You would be surprised what you
would find out about me.
During the next speech ZACK is describing his truck to
JONATHON and towards the end, he produces a picture from the
truck by accident and the picture is of ERICA and JONATHON
takes the opportunity to comment on her.
ZACK
Well, it is a 94 model. Only has
about 50,000 miles on it. Which is
pretty damn good for a 94. Never
been wrecked , never gone any long
distances or anything like that.
Always made sure all filters were
changed and the oil as well.
JONATHON
Your girlfriend ?
ZACK
Yeah, of 2 years.
JONATHON

ZACK

Jonathon is speeding down the highway in his car. He's
talking to Tom via his hands-free cell phone.

JONATHON
He has a cell phone and a BMW
roadster.
TOM

Who doesn't have a cell phone.
JONATHON
True, but one that vibrates ? And
besides, he is a redneck.
TOM

I don't know. But, I do want you

We see JONATHON'S car driving rather recklessly through
windy country roads and even possible making some kind of
dangerous decisions.

JONATHON

ERICA

relaxed that you decided to drive
like Jeff Gordon on the way here.
JONATHON

JONATHON

EXT. GRASSY FIELD IN PARK
Jonathan jumps up avoiding a bee
ERICA
What's wrong with you ?
JONATHON
I hate the outdoors.
ERICA
First driving, now the outdoors.

JONATHON

ERICA

(Deep breath sits up

And in that one incident it proved

JONATHON

ERICA
I don't take too many things at
face value.
JONATHON
Yeah, I noticed. So tell me more

ERICA

JONATHON

JONATHON

ERICA
Well I felt responsible.

INT. JONATHON'S HOUSE - DAY
Jonathan is sitting at kitchen table rubbing his neck
JONATHON
I hope I'm not allergic.
We cut to Erica in bathroom grabbing aspirin and walking
back into kitchen.
ERICA
I think if you were we'd know by now.
Erica goes to the sink runs water crushes aspirin, mixes
aspirin and water together. Walks back over to Jonathan
JONATHON
And she has a needle.....
ERICA HEADING BEHIND JONATHAN
ERICA
Hush.
She fiddles around behind his head with the needle then
takes the aspirin water paste she made and applies it to his
neck
JONATHON
I deserve hazard pay for this.
ERICA
What are you talking about?
JONATHON
May I ask what you are doing?
ERICA
The crushed aspirin takes the
poison out.
JONATHON

Erica puts a bandage on the back of his neck
ERICA

JONATHON
Hello I'm not a 5 year old.
Erica moves around the table and sits across from Jonathan.

ERICA
As a career? I've loved film since
I was child. I really have not
found a single medium that invokes
as much emotion for me as film does.
Plus film is an escape for me,
anytime something happens in my
life, I can make it seem surreal by
putting myself in the mindset that
my life is one giant film.
JONATHON
Wow.
ERICA
Wow?
JONATHON
Oh it's just that I find you
interesting.
ERICA

JONATHON

ERICA

Jonathon and Erica are sitting at the table eating dinner.
A GIRL continues to give Jonathon looks of death until Erica
finally notices.
ERICA
One of your conquests ?
JONATHON

ERICA
Oh please, like it was hard. And
what was it that we did to her ?
JONATHON
It was a long time ago.
ERICA
As your director , I demand to know.
JONATHON
I don't think so.
ERICA
You signed the disclaimer and
agreed to be my subject. If you

and this will be over now.
JONATHON

Jonathon walks into the library and approaches the front desk.
Zack exits from the bathroom and takes a quick look around.
Jonathon ducks and waits for Zack to walk towards the table.
Once Zack is out of sight , Jonathon walks upstairs to the
overview of the whole library.
Tom walks by the table with all of the REDNECKS sitting at it.
He drops down pretending to drop a book and places a
LISTENING BUG under the table and rises again.
Jonathon places a set of headphones on his ears and we can
now hear the conversation.
ALEXANDER
Everything is harvested and we are
ready to roll.
CLIFF
You sounded so professional there
Alexander.
ALEXANDER
Cliff, and I mean this with all due
respect. Open your mouth again and
I will end your life.
ZACK
Hey boys chill out! My uncle is
going to be back in town in a week
so we'll have to hurry up and get
everything out of the greenhouse.
CLIFF
Why does your uncle have a
greenhouse anyway?
ZACK
Um....he owns a floral shop. Kind
of needs a greenhouse so he can
sell flowers for his..uh..floral
shop.
CLIFF
Aren't those normally attached to
the shops.
ALEXANDER
Are you some kind of floral shop
expert now? Anyway my friend what
was the discussion we had a few
moments ago. I really don't want
to be forced to kill someone in a
library.
ZACK
Alright guys. Anyway I will get a
hold of my clients and we'll get
the show started.
ALEXANDER
You know Zack, I really don't know
why we are even wasting our time
dealing with these college boys.
You said yourself that those
Pittsburgh gentlemen are more than
willing to pay big for what we have.
ZACK
Do you not grasp the idea of
starting small and working your way
up ? Besides we are in a great
place. There are a ton of high
schools and colleges around here.

The camera should then pan back and include JONATHON in
shot, although he will be in the far background. The shot
should hold for a while and then the scene will fade out.
INT. MEETING ROOM - DAY
Jonathon and Tom are in a meeting with their private
investigator HAROLD.
HAROLD
So what exactly do you guys want
from me ?
JONATHON
Well, you heard the tape ? I just
want him tailed and don't give me
this " just have Tom do it." You
know Lora, will pay you well for it.
And plus, look at Tom do you really
trust him to tail anybody ?
TOM
Hey wait a damn minute.
HAROLD
Well Tommy , I have known you for
years and you are not exactly known
for your competence.
JONATHON
Is there anything that you need
from us ?
HAROLD
Tape should be enough, and the
pisser. I have had to go since I
left the office and my Mazda
doesn't exactly ride too smooth.
JONATHON
I think I can arrange that, just
out the door and to your left.
TOM flips off HAROLD as he walks out of the room.

INT. ROOM - DAY
Jonathon can bee seen ON VIDEO. He is sitting there and
Erica can be heard O.S.
ERICA
Was there ever a time that it
wasn't so easy ?
JONATHON
Well, one time there was this young
girl. I believe she was 15. It
took a lot of talking to her and
convincing but eventually she came
back to my place with me and things
just went from there. She was a

But I had no choice. I waited for

whose helping load stuff into the truck

sister's condition before Alexander
and her had sex. Zack made the

Pittsburgh boys were all Alexander's
deal. So when the set up happened
of course they are going to come
gunning for Zack. Easy way to kill
someone off. And Alexander has
nothing to lose. Plain old
fashioned revenge. Despite what he
says , Alexander is not as forgiving
as he portrays to be.
ALEXANDER

INT-TOM'S CAR -- CONTINUOUS
Tom notices the "company"
TOM

INT-ZACK'S HOUSE
Jonathon's cell phone starts ringing.
ZACK
Sorry about this, but the noise is
annoying me.
Throws the phone down and shoots it. Erica screams
JONATHON
I'm figuring it out now. How you
know what I do. You were the one
who hired me, aren't you Zack ?
You hired me so that way your
girlfriend wouldn't have to be
around to get hurt by what you are
doing.
ZACK
You shut the fuck up !
EXT-ZACK'S HOUSE
The next scene shows the Gang members pulling down to Zack's
house. They get out of their car they notice the rednecks
with guns watching them. It's a very tense scene. No one
makes a sound. The scene bounces from the house, Tom's car,
and yard as everyone watches. One guy up in a wooden jungle
gym is watching the gang members with his hand on the
trigger of his pumped shotgun. He's sweating (obviously
very nervous) Scene fades back in to house.
INT-ZACK'S HOUSE
JONATHON
This is kinda like reservoir dogs.
ERICA
This is nothing like reservoir dogs.
JONATHON
I don't know. I've never seen it ,
it just seemed like a good thing to
say.
ERICA
You just wanted to hear yourself
talk.
INT-TOM'S CAR
Back to Tom's car. Tom is watching the action. Notices guy
on wooden jungle gym shaking
TOM
Fuck !
EXT-ZACK'S HOUSE
Back to guy on wooden jungle gym. He pulls the trigger, it
seems involuntary. The blast hits a gang member they cuss
up a storm and jet behind their van. They draw guns and the
battle begins.
INT-TOM'S CAR
When Tom sees some stray bullets heading toward the car
windshield he dives out.
INT-ZACK'S BEDROOM
Scene change to Alexander on the cell phone. He puts the
phone down and looks out the window.
ALEXANDER
Armageddon , It's so beautiful !
INT-ZACK'S HOUSE
And back to the living room.....
ERICA
This is fucked up !
Zack walks over to record player
ERICA
What are you doing Zack ? We need
to get the hell out of here.
ZACK
I used to make fun of mom and dad
for not getting a CD player.
Probably the last two people on
earth who do not own one.
JONATHON
Am I the only one here who is
wondering where his parents are at ?
ERICA
Israel , now hush.
JONATHON
Oh, they went to the holy land.
Too bad it didn't rub off on their

JONATHON

ERICA REACHES INTO HIS POCKET
JONATHON

Zack puts on an instrumental record and as the music plays
it blends in with the action outside.
EXT-ZACKS HOUSE
We see the rest of the battle as this intermental piece
plays. The fight should be choreographed in sync to the
music. It should play out like a violent ballet. As the
battle rounds out everyone should be either dead or close
enough to it that they can not continue to fight.
INT-ZACK'S HOUSE
The music fades out and we return to Zack looking out the
window. He looks down at his feet then spins the shotgun
around under his chin
ERICA
Zack, what the fuck are you doing ?
ZACK
Just look away Erica .
JONATHON
Zack, it isn't too late. Let's go
home. Alexander is the one at
fault here. Don't let him win.
ZACK
It's over. My life ends here.
Erica, I'm glad you found happiness.
ERICA
Watching you die isn't happiness.
Please it's bad enough I had to
hurt you. If you really love me
don't let me live with your death
on my conscience.
ALEXANDER IS AGAIN CLAPPING
ALEXANDER
This is too good ! You are such a
pussy whipped bastard. Erica, I'm
glad you found happiness. I love
this. Zack you go to church and
you should know that suicide is a
one way ticket to hell. You don't
want Erica to live with the though
of you burning in hell do you ? SO
being a caring guy I believe it's
my duty as your cousin and your

Erica's wishes.
ALEXANDER SHOOTS ZACK
ERICA

ALEXANDER

Alexander turns around and looking toward Jonathon and Erica
ALEXANDER
I wonder if when you die you will
have to see the face of every girl
you have ever screwed over. I
wonder if you will feel their pain.

JONATHON

A blast is heard and Alexander's brains explode all over

Tom is seen as the smoke cleared

ZACKS ON THE FLOOR COUGHING

Jonathon walks over and puts his hand on Erica's shoulder
ZACK

ERICA

ZACK

Tom walks over putting away his phone
TOM
Good news is Lora has a private
plane waiting for us at the Benedum
Airport. It will take us to her
cabin somewhere up near the
Northwest territories in Canada. I
don't know. I'm not much with
geography.
JONATHON
And the bad news ?
TOM
She can't give us any financial
help for about a year.
JONATHON
What am I supposed to do ? Kill a
fuckin' Coca Cola bear for food ?
Erica freaks out and doesn't want him to go
ERICA
No, I can't lose you too. Why
can't you just let Tom go down on
this by himself ? He was the one
killing everyone.
JONATHON

ZACK

I think he is talking to you

ZACK
The money in the case has been
laundered. Take it and use it
until Lora can help you again.
ERICA
No, I don't want him to go.
ZACK

TOM
I hate to hurry you up , but the
boys in blue are on the ridge and
we really need to get out of here.
ERICA
Zack has a four wheeler out back,
you can use it to go to the airport
through the woods.
TOM
Whatever we do, we have to do now.
ERICA
Zack, the four wheeler is in the
shed right ?
Zack is dead (oh c'mon you knew it was going to happen folks).
JONATHON

though he hired me. Falling in
love with you was for real. I

ERICA
How do you know he was the one who
hired you ?
JONATHON

ERICA

hiring you though were about the
same as you had guessed for Zack's.

EXT-ZACK'S HOUSE
The police are pulling down Zack's long dirt driveway.
EXT-ZACK'S BACKYARD
Tom, Jonathon and Erica head outside and Tom starts the 4
wheeler
JONATHON
I will see you again.
ERICA
I know you will.
TOM
Let's go guys.
Jonathon gets ready to get on the 4 wheeler but turns and
runs toward Erica they embrace
ERICA
We deserve hazard pay for this.
EXT-ZACK'S HOUSE
Back to the front of the house. The police are about ready
to break in.
INT-ZACK'S HOUSE -- CONTINUOUS
As they break in we see Erica in the fetal position in the
corner. No sign of Tom and Jonathon.
EXT-ZACK'S HOUSE -- MOMENTS LATER
Cut to an overhead scene of Erica in a police car with a
blanket over her. We hear Jonathon's voice and it cuts to a
scene from Erica's video. The scene bounces from the film
to Erica with the police to Jonathan's plane.
INT-PLANE
Jonathon is looking out the window of his plane. As he
looks out the plane window, our P.O.V. changes to the blue
sky just outside the plane. As the monologue wraps up the
last thing we should see is Jonathon's face on Erica's tape.
JONATHON (TV)
You ask me if I'll ever be judged
for what I've done after I die. I
don't believe you are judged after
death. I believe God judges you
more on Earth then he ever does in
Heaven. If I do find love,
everytime I fall asleep next to
that person I will still be haunted
by the memory of the girls I have
hurt. Everytime I make love to her
I will see those girls' pain. This
is an image I will be stuck with
day and night for the rest of my
life.
As he finishes, the screen should flash as if someone was
turning off a tv. Then we.....
