My name is James Starnes. I live in Upstate NY. I'm a single father of five with children ranging in age from ten months to eight years. I've been writing since I was 11 years old, mostly poetry. I've always had a love for a great many types of writing. My dream since childhood was to become a writer. I,to this day strive to be the best possible writer that I can, not for me, but for the readers of my work. I enjoy writing Fiction, SF,Fantasy and Horror. One of my all time favorite books as a child was "Animal Farm", next in line would be any thing Terry Brooks has written. There are many more out there, and one day I hope to read them all :)
