"Pretty in Pink" has had a partial facial repaint with violet eyes and pink shadow and dark pink lips lined with violet. Her strawberry-blonde hair is done in a sophisticated updo. She wears an asymmetrical dress trimmed along the neckline in beads and sequins. The one cuff is trimmed in seed and bugle beads. From her waistline hangs fringe made from seed and bugle beads attached at the waist with sequins. Her shoes have been customized with pink glitter. Her jewelry is made from seed beads and Swarovski crystals. I used frosty pink stretch crushed panne velvet, silver-lined pink seed beads, pink sequins, a little pink satin ribbon at the waist, pink glitter on her shoes, and my trim is the pink bow on her back. My two extra items were pink bugle beads and pink Swarovski crystals. Her accessory is, obviously, her jewelry.

I am a 36-year-old mother of 2 living in central Ohio. I am a stay-at-home mom and do many crafts in my spare time besides my dolls. I have been doing fashion doll makeovers since the beginning of 1999 and have learned so much from Jim's books and this group that I think I improved pretty quickly. I especially enjoy doing glamour dolls in eveningwear, but have really enjoyed the few fantasy dolls I've done and plan on doing more soon! I hope to one day be as talented as the artists I currently look up to.
