On top of the angel of mercy hospital, a super sonic jet touches down softly and discreetly using advanced technology devised by a man who can create life as easily as machines. Out steps just that, he is called Crusher, he works for the man who wants Halo and unfortunately he doesn’t have a mind of his own to see the ramifications of such actions. He leaps off the top of the four-story building, the incredible muscle mass in his legs and back alone allow for a safe landing. From here he has only an eyewitness report stating that the injured angel flew northwest. That means he won’t have gone far and he will also be easier to subdue. The giant Crusher begins lumbering off in that direction.

Ten blocks northwest from Crusher’s location, Halo begins to regain consciousness. The same sixth sense that lead him to the hospital warns him that he has to get moving. However he has lost a lot of blood and is feeling dizzy and cold. He works his way up on wobbly legs using the wall as support. He staggers down the alleyway leaning on the wall the entire way. He doesn’t dare try flying for fear of passing out. As he reaches the end of the alleyway he is suddenly knocked back about five feet. He looks up and a humongous shadow blocking his way. It moves forward and he tries to move but can’t. The form lifts him above his head and tosses him into the brick wall. Halo is knocked loopy but still manages to muster enough of his purifying energy to stop his aggressor. That is if that ability worked on Crusher, too bad for Halo it doesn’t. Crusher drives a massive fist into Halo’s gut. As the earth walking angel doubles over, crusher grabs a wooden crate and shatters it over the back of Halo. He grabs the unconscious form and hoists it over his shoulder. He then begins the trek back to the hospital.

Crusher arrives at the base of the hospital building and looks up to the top. As he is about to begin the climb a doctor spots them. Assuming Crusher has brought in an injured patient, the doctor runs over.
“Oh my god! This man’s been shot. It’s lucky you’ve brought him in, he should be o…”
Crusher delivers a backhand knocking the doctor flying to the ground out cold. Crusher then buries his fingers in the side of the building and begins to climb. As he reaches the top he can hear sirens approaching fast. He delivers a stiff shot to Halo’s face before dumping him in the back of his jet. He then climbs in; starts it up and lets the autopilot take him back to his creator.

As his awareness returns all Halo can feel is pain. As he opens his eyes and starts to look around he can also feel the shackles. He is bound inside of some kind of containment chute. There are wires connected all over him and small tubes going into his shoulders, biceps and right above the knees. A man just outside but distorted by the glass is talking to him.
“Halo is it, you don’t know who I am but I know a bit about you. I know that you have the power to radiate a light that cuts threw a person’s soul and send them into a euphoric state. I also know you’re wondering why that didn’t work on Crusher here. The reason is simple he isn’t a real man. He is a lab creation and I his creator. He is the first of my battle squad and you will be my second. Now you may ask why you would join me, quite simply you don’t have a choice. These machines you’re hooked up to will first erase your own will and replace it with whatever I wish, and then they will tamper with your purifying power. I’m thinking that instead of purifying a man, they will instead perform the same task as these machines. How does that sound?”
“N-n-no. Y-you can-can’t you m-monster,” Halo stutters as the machine is switched on.
“Enjoy, I’ll be back soon to check on you.”

With that the distorted figure of a man turns and leaves the room, laughing the whole way. The man mountain Crusher follows him as Halo screams in agony while his powers and mind are polluted and disfigured. The angel on earth has now been delivered into hell for eternity. THE END.
