| Erase the guidelines for the primaries in these areas. (I've skipped showing that here, but just imagine the new guidelines in the areas we just defined were blank.) Then, draw new guidelines for these smaller interior feathers. I tend to make sure that these guides don't line up with the primaries, as their goal is to cover where the primaries connect. It's a bit like dragon or fish scales, or rows of bricks. One overlaps the other. |
