Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Octavia and I am a graduate of Seton Hall University. At this current moment I am working as both a Photographer for Lifetouch School Studios and Head of On-Air Graphics for The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square.
During my education I have gained the knowledge and experience of several programs and techniques. I have the knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Office Suite, Web Design and Computer repair/programming. I have used programs such as 3D Studio Max, Macromedia Director, Flash, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Pagemaker, 3D CAD, and Final Cut Pro, . I am currently working on several new projects and teaching myself how to use these programs more and more each day. Besides having the knowledge of computer and softwares, I also have knowledge with working in a TV Studio and on location shooting for TV or film. I am able to be a camera person, producer/director, work audio, gaffing, and an editor on both analog and digital systems.
Since I was a little girl I have always held a love for animation, whether it be through the everyday cartoon or film. Later on during life I discovered that I could make a living combining two of my favorite pasttimes: Art and Computers. I was thrilled and wanted to find out everything I could about the profession as a Computer Animator, and decided I would rather enjoy doing something I love on a daily basis instead of becoming a Corporate Lawyer as planned. I have enjoyed my learning experience at Seton Hall University and am looking forward to the future and what it has in store. Knowing that I can create a memory or moment of laughter for others, as I received while watching a film, makes a difference in MY life.
