Explanation: This was taken 2 years ago. It took me several tries to get the wiggling puppy to look at me and to also be able to see Maggie's face. It's one of my favorite photographs. I love how the pink of the pup's ears is the same shade of pink in my daughter's cheeks.

Aww--that's sweet. Is the dog a Samoyed? My husband had one years ago -- one of the best dogs I've ever known.

Iris, yes, Maggie is my youngest. The pic was 2 years ago, so she is 9 now. =)

Barbara, that is our American Eskimo named Winnie. She is an excellent dog! No relation to Samoyeds though.

Almost doesn't look real because that adorable puppy is so white and clean and sitting there so calmly. Now she looks like she is one proud mama!
