We are currently accepting submissions for T-shirt designs.
Submission Guidelines
- Please send a minimum of ten (10) different designs in digital format. There is no maximum. Send as many as you like.
- If you have your own hosting space, please use it and email a link. If not then attach small thumbnails to your email only. If your submissions are accepted you will be asked to send full size files.
- Full size images should be 10" by 8" (or as large as will fit in that format) and 300 DPI.
- Designs for the Environmental and Animal Rights categories are most needed, however we will consider submissions for any category.
- Sales are fulfilled through Cafepress.com, therefore all eligible submissions must meet Cafepress terms of service. Read them here prior to sending submissions.
- Electric Tofu reserves the right to refuse any submissions for any reason. Electric Tofu also reserves the right to remove your designs from the website at ay time due to no sales, or possible copyright infringement. If this happens we will communicate with you to let you know.
- Upon acceptance of your designs you will be required to furnish your full name, mailing address, phone number, and social security number (from US citizens) for payment of commissions.
- You will retain all ownership and copyright of your designs, and may use them in any other capacity at your own discretion.
Payment Information
- Payment will be in the form of commissions per item with your design sold. Most items have a commision amount of 3.00$ each. Some less expensive items have commissions ranging from 49 cents to 2.00$. There are bonuses when your monthly sales reach a certain amount before commissions. You will be emailed a monthly sales report with your commission amounts listed.
- Pay checks will be mailed on the fifteenth of each month when commissions have reached or exceeded 25.00$. Commissions will be mailed 45 days after the end of that month (example: Commissions made during the month of September will be mailed on or by November fifteenth). This is to allow adaquate time for possible returns. All checks will be in U.S. funds and sent by Cafepress.com.
- You will be responsible for filing and paying your own taxes on any commissions sent. If you recieve more than 600$ in commissions in any calendar year you will be mailed a 1099 Misc. Income form for your taxes.
