My work is entirely crafted by hand. I specialize in producing hand-thrown porcelain bottles and tableware that is practical and distinctive.
My influences are drawn from mid-century interior design and contemporary art. Working with a range of bright, colours set against white porcelain my latest bottles take their inspiration from Patrick Caulfield's 1969 painting "Pottery".
My work has been published in "500 Bowls", "Making and Installing Handmade Tiles" as well as having been a guest showing my work on the ITV program "This Morning", rock musician Pete Doherty is the proud owner of one of my pieces.
Born in Yokohama, Japan, I became interested in art and craft at an early age, eventually fulfilling my objective to practice as a ceramicist.
