self portrait with t-shirt
done b/c i wanted to capture the drapery of the shirt. charcoal. you know, i look a little... black... in this portrait. but that's the way the light fell- the shadows were where i put them. i noticed as i was going along that it looked that way. i'm like, "am i messing up?" but the mirror was right there and that's what i looked like, and that's the way it translated in black and white. i do have big lips. three year olds tell me that all the time. i think it turned out well, actually. i'm really proud of the shirt.
