Joanna is a Visionary Artist/Writer and Colour Therapist who celebrates life through the sun. Born and raised on the Lower Mainland of Vancouver, B.C., Canada and now located in the beautiful beach community of White Rock B.C. She is an active member in the Arts Community and an originating member of Eleven - A Creative Artist Collective. She is influenced by the Mayan culture and her art is stamped with a given name, "OJO", which represents the Universal Eye of All Knowing. Combining her education in Colour Therapy, her passion for art and her life experiences, she creates a platform to be reflected in her work. Inspired by the beauty and mystery of the ocean, the warmth of the sun and the light of the stars and moon in the night sky, her art is born with enthusiasm and insight. ARTIST'S STATEMENT: Within my work the underlying theme that'life is light' is used in many forms and styles, from abstracts & landscapes to inner visions and inter-active art.
