Debra CB Sexton captures subtle expressions, and details in texture and color. Subject matter extends from oil portraits (people, animals, and homesteads and more), to landscapes, southwest art, and dark fantasy. Her oil paintings hang in private collections across the United States, Japan, Germany, Mexico, and El Salvador. Making artwork for everyone to enjoy is what motivates her. Her goal is to help people see what they have looked at all their lives. Sexton works in several mediums. Her preference is oils, but she also uses acrylics, Prismacolors (colored pencils), graphite, and mixed media. Home-base is in North Texas, near the Oklahoma border.
