Two of my images are included in issue #36 of F-Stop Magazine, Amusement.

And just a reminder to those in Melbourne that the Melbourne Silver Mine's Unsensored09 exhibition opens this Friday evening from 6pm at Collingwood Gallery, 292 Smith Street, Collingwood.

See you there!

the babysitter

Two of my images have been included in issue #35 of F-Stop Magazine, the portfolio issue.

I've been quite productive lately: I posted off a proposal yesterday for a gallery space in November 2010 for a solo exhibition with sound recordings by Philip Ivens; I have another to deliver to a gallery tomorrow for the chance at a solo show in August this year; I'm in the process of finalising my entry for this year's Corangamarah Art Prize which I was a finalist in last year; and tomorrow Ziz and I will be having a nose around other galleries for me to submit proposals to for next year.

I've also entered the Artists Wanted Art vs Design competition; and if you'd like to, you can vote for my image in the latest round of the Saatchi Showdown.

The collaboration I recently completed with Los Angeles photographer Aline Smithson
is included in the latest issue of F-Stop Magazine.

And if you're in Melbourne, come on down to the opening of the Kodak Salon 2009
at the Centre for Contemporary Photography,
corner George & Kerr Streets, Fitzroy, from 6-8pm tonight.

untitled #119

Six of my photographs (including some brand-spanking new stuff) are included in
issue #32 of F-Stop Magazine: The Unnatural World.
My images are in the fourth row.

The feature artist for this issue is the extremely talented (and fellow Australian), Deborah Hally,
and work by the talented and beautiful Elle Moss is also included in the group exhibit (fifth & sixth row).

You can also vote for my image in the latest round of the Saatchi Showdown.

i'm forever blowing bubbles...

...or rather, Karen was. I think she might have hyperventilated a bit after blowing bubbles for me semi-continuously whilst I tried to capture an image suitable to composite into another photo for the series I'm creating for my Canon Photo5 competition entry.

The two of us and Greg enjoyed the strange looks of folk assembled for a wedding nearby whilst we took photos in the Botanical Gardens on Sunday. Bubble-blowing was the least absurd behaviour we were partaking in, I assure you.

However, you'll have to wait until the series is completed before you get to see the photos or hear any more about our mischief.

In the meantime, you can see four of my images in issue #31 of F-Stop Magazine (on the right-hand side of the third row), and you can vote for my entry into the current round of the Saatchi Showdown competition.
