About Loretta DeWitt |

Loretta took her art training at Garrett Community Community College, MacHenry Maryland. She later continued her studies at Frostberg State University, also in Maryland. She has been a resident of Virginia Beach for nine years. She has worked as an Arts and Crafts Specialist for the City of Virginia Beach, and is currently a teacher assistant in the Virginia Beach Public Schools System. She has also taught art in special programs for challenged young adults. Loretta is also an experienced stage designer and has recently done stage design for the Very Special Arts program in Virginia Beach. The artist has experience working in various media and currently concentrates her efforts on incorporating traditional works of art with computer design. She has paintings hanging on permanent display at Frostberg State University, Maryland, Northwest Visual Art Center, Panama City, Florida, and in numerous private collections throughout Maryland and Virginia. |
