About the Author

Welcome to my website, The Philippines. My name is Art Sangalang, I'm 58 year old and retired. I migrated from the Philippines in 1982. I am divorced with three children, two sons and a daughter. I'm also a grandfather of three kids ages thirteen, ten and three. All my kids are grown ups now and have their own families. One son lives in Las Vegas, he is with the US Airforce and has three year old daughter. My daughter, the eldest, lives in Fontana, California, she has two sons. My other son, the youngerst, works with Disney as a Computer Graphic Animator.

I love photography, reading and music. I play piano on my sparetime. I like reading books, especially about history. The hobby I like most is photography. My project at present is to transfer my old photos into digital images, so I can save them in my computer.

My website will showcase many beautiful places of the Philippines. It's people, history, language and culture.
