Discussion of recently completed watercolor, Blues

Thoughts on unfinished painting Cat's Step (the working title for this painting at the time was Still Life with Ceramic Kitty). References to Cézanne and Raphael's Madonna of the Meadows.

I keep finding myself back at Cézanne over and over again. I guess I share a common preoccupation with form, organization and structure.
