Where pencil lead comes to
die...
OK a little morbid perhaps but it is verily true... ALL images I do are
done in pencil. Usually with a No. 2 yellow old school pencil or
a mechanical pencil with the same type of lead. On the rare
occasion (when I've gotten daring) I've used an Ebony pencil which is
literally ebony lead...and very messy and easily smudgible.
Another thing I use on shading is either my fingers (which I know yes
that's bad cause the oils in your skin are absorbed into the paper and
make it increasingly hard to erase) or of all things kleenex.
Though I have made smudge sticks out of pencil sharpened sucker sticks
(ie: lollipop sticks)
Anyway all these images are as they were
originally drawn, not digitally corrected or rendered or anything.
Basically these are my drawings in their rawest form. (from New to
Old...as best as I can remember)
