I instinctively use organic forms, whether glass, metal, or bronze, the forms often taking their inspiration from nature. In some cases they reflect the movement of the waves on the shore-line, or are influenced by the striation in rock faces. In others the natural forms of shells and stones battered by the waves.

For a former Interior Designer, colour is always important and part of the attraction of using glass is the possibility of introducing colour, which in turn; because of it’s reflective and ethereal quality, is the perfect foil for the heavy solid metals and stones.
