English Coptic dictionary

     this dictionary (Lexicon) is in a compressed (zip) form,

     to be downloaded  quickly.

     After you download it there are few steps to be made,

     to decompress it so that you can  use it.

       here are the instructions:

    1) click here to download the dictionary  ,  and click  on save from the message that will come out.

        then choose  save in : Desktop

        this will take 2 minutes only.

    2) after the download is completed ;

        you'll see a message with  3 options : open , open folder , close

        click on close. (be sure that the size is 146 KB.)

    3) after being saved at your desktop, right click its icon : "english coptic dictionary"
        then click extract to folder.  .
       this will make a new folder named "english coptic dictionary",  double click it.
        you'll see 4 files there.
        the one named " coptic"  is that of the lexicon (dictionary). double click it

       then click  OK   to convert data base & save it in your documents.
      

      * important:

      one of the four files : " coptic2 " is a font file & the only font in
      which you can read the Coptic fonts correctly in this dictionary.
      you have to add it to the other fonts in your font list
      to do so :
      click : the start button of your computer,  point to  settings ,
      click on : control panel , there search for fonts, there click file, then install new fonts .
  

     there, it will be under : your main drive (c:\) , windows, desktop, Coptic
 

    * important:

  there is another font called " Coptic" at the Remenkimi website,
  if you've downloaded before, it will not work in this dictionary
  cause both have the same name, although different.
  you have to delete it, so that the new one will work.

  then, you  can re install it again, by this way, both will work.
