How fast I could embrace the wind
and throw the past away,
to fly with those

through the sun clean space
sunlit and trembling with wishes,
more lovely if never loved too tightly
like a birdsong, a dance,
or music performed,
each time different,
permitting itself to be heard
only once
and only remembered after,
never any recording to restore it.
