Woody Myrk:
All offense: WATCH FOR DEPLOYED INVY'S. This is your priority #1 in all situations. If see it, kill it immediately. If for some reason you can't kill it, then call out where you spotted it. Even if you plan on going to kill it your very next run, still call it!
Cappers:
Similar to pandemonium, focus on pulling the D out more and more, stretch them thin. No shadow capping. Don't run the same route back to back off the other capper. (eg, if capper in front of you exited East, do not exit East, exit center or West)
HO-base:
Just like Boss, ownage of the base is next to impossible. As soon as you're inside and owning you will have 1/2 of the other teams D and 1/2 of the other teams O all descending on you. With a handy rep pack located right inside it ensures the base will be back up quickly. Therefore, make use of your run. Spam sensors, turrets, even the base entrance on your way in. The point of taking the base down isn't to go for ownage, it is to disrupt their O to slow their pace down, and to shake up their D to create openings for us to beat through.
When our base is getting hit hard, all HO assist in getting it cleared and back up QUICKLY. If you repair the gen (only repair 1/2 way) and then the invy station, DO NOT SELL THE PACK, be sure to throw it off before you gear up. If you are reparing, stay above the door, you can reach the gen and invy station from above the door, and stay relatively safe.
If you do slow down to spam, make sure that you don't over-spam. Move quickly through your routes. In OvD a 15 second wait timer on our HO was enough to shift from domination to unable to gain decisive control. 15 seconds is a short time... make sure you don't give the enemy that luxury.
The second you take out the base gen, CALL IT. The rest of the O will be cued to take out the turrets/sensors.
If the enemy has a base D locked down tight, or they have massive amounts of midfield so that after several attempts the rapers have proven unable to take the base down, communicate this back and we may roll these players to light mid-Offense. Look to press to just on the enemy side of the river, kill and control this area, and elf down any enemy HO passing you. Cover capper on the way home, Return our flag if it makes it to your position.
Important: WATCH FOR DEPLOYED INVY'S
Primary: Move quickly to the enemy base to rape Secondary: Communicate you status, position, events to rest of O Tertiary: Switch to Mid-O and control the midfield
HO-flag:
This player is not relegated to be in HO, feel free to run LO/MO/HO depending on what works best. Focus on moving quickly. Clear deployed invys and turrets around the flag, and control the area. This is a highly volitile position, you will die ALOT. Make your runs fast, get their for ownage. NEVER slow down in your run to time up with the capper, always move at max speed. If by chance you sync up with the capper, then be aware and help clear, but don't ever slow down in your pressure to be able to time up with them. (Cappers should be crossing the flag every 20-40 seconds)
If the enemy starts to use a primarily light defense, you may want to switch up to standard hand grenades to help you clear deployables faster (one disk + one grenade = destroyed deployable). Also consider white-outs. Only, ONLY carry flares if rocket D is a problem for you.
If the D is locked tight around their flag and your life-span is far too short, communicate this quickly so that your position can be rotated to a more viable use.
If HO-base calls the gens are down, quickly make sure that the base turrets/sensor are down
Primary: clear invys, turrets Secondary: own the area (clear LD) Tertiary: clear for capper
LO-flag:
Even though the HO-flag may be running light, your two positions are very different. You also focus on clearing deployables, owning the area, and helping clear if the capper happens to come in when you're around, your job is to NOT DIE. The HO-flag will be very offensive, often in the middle of the mix taking things out first-hand. The LO-flag hangs back and tries to hold a safe distance. Snipe or disc spam in on the defense, deployables, engage people who come to try to clear you out, but don't rush in to get killed. Give assistance to the HO-flag when they go in to keep them alive longer, and sweep up behind them.
Also, just like the HO-flag don't force your timings to fit with the capper. Cap runs come quickly, you should find yourself non-stop moving and engaging the flag D. If the capper is coming in when you're in position then assist with the clear if the opportunity presents itself.
If you're in the middle of your route to the enemy flag and we have a capper grab and start coming home, if they are exiting toward your side of the map then move to cover. If they are exiting opposite side, then continue through your route to setup to clear. There are so many grabs this map, that you'd be stuck non-stop covering "almost" caps mid-field. Covering the near flag is great and helps the cap happen, but if the flag is far from you, focus on owning hard to make the next cap a breeze.
If HO-base calls the gens are down, quickly make sure that the base turrets/sensor are down
Primary: don't die Secondary: clear invy's, turrets Tertiary: clear for capper
Clear:
You will absolutely time up the cappers. Move as quickly as you can to get to a safe location, then keep a low profile. Feel free to snipe or disk spam in if you like, but never lose focus that your job #1 is to clear that flag stand for the capper. You can disk the LD, grenade them, white-out, whatever you want to do, just open that stand up.
If the flag is wide open and no capper incoming, you are free to make the open grab. Use solid judgement, unless you're capping 100% of your grabs, you shouldn't be grabbing 100% of your runs. Focus on the clear. After the capper exits you can either fall in behind to help cover, or you can stay back at flag to help clear.
Primary: clear the flag Secondary: escort capper Tertiary: clear the area/grab the open flag
Cover:
If our mid-D is getting hit HARD, then stay on our side of the river to make sure we own the midfield. We CANNOT lose that area, or flags will continually slip away from us. The second our side is set, press forward to the enemy side. Do not press too close to the enemy base to pull away from their base-D, you should really only be encountering the enemy mid-fielders.
Keep a keen eye for forward deployed invy's, unless we have a capper coming right at you, taking out that invy is priority 1.
Cappers are relegated to communicate exit routes. Stay informed of where the cappers are exiting, and move to intercept them on their exits to help ensure the flag gets home.
Primary: cover cappers on way home Secondary: own the midfield, clear deployables Tertiary: don't die
