"Nigel!" she gasped, a hint of nervousness beneith her breath. "I was just..."
"Wait a minute." I interjected, bringing my hand up in motion for her to stop before indicating to the body. "What's happened out here? Is he alright?" I fained minor concern- it was after all only a servant, and I truely didn't care in the least. My concern liad more with what Valleen would say about it.
"I...I.. I don't know." I could see the calcualting look to her eyes as she forced the words.
"But you've been missing for nearly an hour now, and I'd assume you were out here. Was he here when you came out? Why didn't you come back inside and say something? Vally..." I grinned, bringing my lips against her ear as I whispered the rest "I know."
She blinked at that, but tried to play it off. "know what?" Oh innocence just wasn't a good look for her- she couldn't do it smoothly enough, never did, and still can't to this day. You think she'd realize that and do something about it but she doesn't. After all, how could she ever possibly over or down play it?
I grinned a bit more, nuzzling into her neck as I chuckled out the words "Oh, everything Valleen darling..." I paused and nibbled her neck, taking the bite just a bit too sharply to get my point across. "Everything."
Well, if ever it was possible, she palled, and for the first (and last) time that I can remember she fell into absolute silence.
"Oh come on Vally darling, nothing to say for yourself?" My tone was taunting, to say the least, and my form rather teasing. I kept my arms about her, and kissed along her neck and shoulders slowly between the biting words. I'd never touched her so freely before, and had never desiered to. Now however, I knew that it was dangerous, and that made all the difference. She was a predator, and she was cornered into a trap. "You go about killing one of the cooks, and you've nothing to say? Oh well now that I think about it I suppose this was hardly the first time, now was it? I knew there was something different about you, and I was right... I know exactly what you are- any uneducated blockhead would, especailly when exposed to such hard evidence as this."
She stood dumbfounded, tripping over her thoughts as I brought upon her yet one more bitter blow. "Would you kill even me?" I asked it with a grin, kissing her all the more. I could see the her struggle against restraint as I kissed her each and every time. But upon my question she seemed to waken.
"No!" she stopped and sighed, then with an amount of somber composure the likes of which I had never seen before in her, she continued. "No, Nigel. I wouldn't kill you, not like that." She motioned to the body with a slight, but graceful wave of her hand. "I've greater things in plan for you."
"Oh really?" I chuckled, stepping back and crossing my arms with an arched brow. "and what exactly might they be?"
She sighed heavily, adverting her eyes and then bringing them back into mine. "I'd rather not discuss it now, Nigel. Its too complex, and there are far too many ears about us."
"Alright then, when would be a more appropriate time?"
"I'll let you know, for now I'm going to leave."
"Leave?" I laughed. "Don't tell me that you're going to leave just when things heat up! How could you go now?" I laughed again and kissed her full out on the lips, and then pulled away with a devilish grin. "Please Vally- stay. Just this once? You always leave so early. Stay. For me, please?" I spoke tenderly, letting my hands hold lightly about her waist as I nuzzled into her hair. She was giving in, I could see it easily. "Please Valleen... Don't go now. Stay with me. Forget wherever it is you were going, forget the party, just stay with me."
"You say it as though if I left that I'd never come back." she said it softly, her eyes half closed, and her heart entirely mine.
"I'm not willing to take the chance and find out, darling." with that I kissed her sweetly upon the lips and sealed the deal.
"Alright" she replied softly "lets go upstairs."
