My Fish Ran Away!

I woke up one morning
and ran to the tank
to visit my fish
his name is Frank.

i looked through the glass
and my eyes grew wide
Frank was not there!
could he have died?

i jumped in the tank
and swam all around
"FRANK? where are you?"
i cried out loud

i couldn't find him
in that decorous tank!
i did find some old fish food
oh EWIE! it sure stank!

i guess i always knew
my fish would never stay
i guess i knew this day would come!
frank the fish has run away!

sadly i climbed out of his tank
and turned my room upside down
looking for frank
since there was no WAY he had drowned

i finally found him
on the windowsill!
fast asleep in the sun
next to my plant named bill

i giggled and took him
back to his tank
my silly lost fishie
my wonderful frank
