Installing and setting up filters.

I have posted the latest and better filters available, along with a few of the older but still requested filters, to VP. Download and install the filter first. If you are downloading Cerberus, after you install it, go to, start, programs, The Black Hand, Cerberus, and click on: Web Update( you must be online). The update feature will upgrade Cerberus to the current version. After that, log into VP without the filter. Once in VP, click on tools then community servers you will see a window like the one below:

Where it has Community name: Type in Filter. For Server address, type in: 127.0.0.1, and then click the add tab. Now you will see the new address in the white window. Highlight the new address by left clicking on it once, and now click the Set Default tab. Now exit VP and open the filter and come back into VP. Your filter should now work. If you decide that you do not want to use the filter again, you can do one of two things. 1st option: log into VP without the filter. When you do this, a window will pop up like the one below. Click OK, and that window will close. Now you will want to click tools and community servers. You will see a window like the one above. Highlight the text in the white window that has: Excite Talk! talk.excite.com and click the connect tab. You will then be connected to VP. If you do not want the 127.0.0.1 to be the default server setting , instead of clicking connect, click Set Default then OK Then exit VP. Then you can open VP again, and the Excite Talk! will now be the default server address.

In order for Cerberus to work on Halsoft's VP, you must do the following:
Open Cerberus. Click on Filter at the top, and then click on Configure. Look over to the right side side
of that window, and you'll see: Server Address. Change whatever is in there to: vpchat.com. If you want to use Cerberus in the Adult rooms of Halsoft, go through the same procedure as above, but type in: vpadult.com.
That's all there is to it. However, Halsoft's VP is unlike the wild, wild west of the old Excite. Booting is not tolerated at Halsoft, but there are other functions that can still be used from Cerberus.

This fixes an incompatibility with one of Excites modifications , which killed Beewall.This upgrade fixes the problem Unzip this to your Bewall folder, and it will overwrite the current version.

newBee 1.0b Build 161

A new filter by Dummy. It's very similar to Cerberus as far as functionality. It could be where the idea came from. This also has the auto updater, and this is the full installation-So for all the people that likes Dummy's filters, get this. Visit the Author's web site at http://www.planetvp.co.uk

This upgrade will keep you from being booted by code that was used in newbee to boot Cerberus users. Since TBH site is down, the webupdate will not work, so I have posted the zip file here. This will update Cerberus to version 1.27, and it will stop the Cerberus kills. Download the zip file and upzip it to the following location: C:\Program Files\The Black Hand\Cerberus. It will ask you if you want to replace the current .exe, you will want to click yes. That should upgrade you to the newest version. If you run into any problems updating, post on the forum or e-mail me - and I'll do my best to help you. As always, back up your current Cerberus.exe by right clicking on the file, then click copy. Make a folder for it under my documents, or wherever you want, and paste it there, by right clicking inside the folder and then click paste.. As soon as theblackhand's site is back up, I will remove this file, and you can go back to using the webupdate again. This was programmed by Archon of - www.theblackhand.net

Mirage logs in decoys accounts for you, and throws the one on one lagger bots off, hence: decoy. The program is very easy to set up and run, and comes with help files as well.
