Gabriel Pérez Resson's art is abstract and his paintings refer to topographic images taken from a space satellite . Adding geometrical elements it seems landmarks and planimetric references, lines are just only coordinates and the informalist background looks like planetary material textures. Gabriel Pérez Resson's paintings hold off figuration of the near environment but raise high to watch big port. In his maps appears studies of vertical cuts of ground too, in urban landscapes or cuts of geological rocks through sky-surface-earth. All Resson's art don't overload of heavy estructures and it have a tendency to get the purism of materials reaching a formal minimalism suitable for escenographics backgrounds. La utilización de elementos geométricos parecen hitos y referencias planimétricas, las líneas son coordenadas y el fondo informalista recrea texturas de materia planetaria. Las pinturas de Gabriel Pérez Resson dejan de lado la figuración directa del entorno inmediato para elevarse a observaciones distantes que abarcan grandes porciones de terreno. En sus mapas también pueden aparecer estudios de cortes verticales de tierra en medios urbanos o en rocas geológicos que atraviesan cielo-superficie-suelo. Todo el arte de Resson no se sobrecarga de estructuras pesadas y tiende al purismo de la materia logrando un minimalismo formal ideal para fondos escenográficos puros. Las estructuras remiten sentimientos aproximados al high tech Elevémonos imaginariamente para mirar desde lo alto que sucede allá abajo sobre las telas pintadas de Gabriel Pérez Resson.
