The 17 Squadron Annual Magazine is now published. It will be given out tomorrow at the final parade.

Exercise Taiaha

It's this weekend. This year Exercise Taiaha is being held at Omaka.

Yay! We won the National Efficiency Trophy for the New Zealand Air Training Corps!!!

This week

This week has been havoc for all cadets, studying for School Certificate, Sixth Form, and Bursary. As for the 3rd and 4th formers, we can relax as the hard days of exams are over, well at least for this year.

Anyway, this weekend we are preparing ourselves for the SANTA PARADE!!! This event is a exciting time of year where all our officers get told by Santa whether or not they have good little girls and boys or bad little girls and boys.

Golden Syrup??

There is a joke about two cadets in our squadron where they have a strange and unusual untold miss happens, there is GOLDEN SYRUP involved, but yet noone ever know what is really going on behind closed doors. Do keep in mind that these two cadets are both female! If wanting any more information on this, write me a message on the discussion board and I will do some investigating….

Santa Parade
All volunteers are reminded that the Santa parade is on this Sunday at 1400hrs.

Last night / Final parade

Last night at ATC, we are all practising very hard in our drill for perfection, as our final parade is in 2 weeks, it is on Thursday 7th of December, all are welcome. If you are interested in coming along, I will write more information about where and when in a later date.

Project in progress: 17 on 17

"17 on 17" is a major section of One Seven Point focused on the people of 17 Squadron. Basically it is an area providing a closer look at 17 Squadron from the viewpoints of its people. Interviews, tour of 17 Sqn, profiles (Serious and non-serious), history, polls, viewpoints on atc / 17sqn, funny awards. etc.
