This set celebrates the Re-Discovery of a Lost Episode of the science-fiction TV movie series, Doctor Who, in the previous year. For more information on the finding of the Lost Episode, click here. For more information about Doctor Who, click here. The movie in question, The Lion, was found by Bruce Grenville of Sedang Cinema, and positively identified by two members of the Doctor Who Fan Club, Neil Lambess and Paul Scoones. The stamps were printed by the Imperial Occussi-Ambeno Government Printing Office (KDPN) on white gloss paper, and are perf 12. Several other lands also celebrated Doctor Who with commemorative stamps: the British Post Office was first off the mark, while Sedang issued two beautiful sheetlets.
