This stamp commemorates the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Antartica. The design is by Alex Cheek, and the stamps were printed by letterpress by the Imperial Occussi-Ambeno Government Printing Office (KDPN) using a Heidelberg platen press on pale green hued paper with shiny gum.
