This set commemorates the campaign decreed by the Sultan to combat the rapid spread of AIDS and other sexually-transmitted diseases around the world, by encouraging everyone to use condoms. The stamps feature a detail from a painting "The Plague" by Hieronymus Bosch (1450 1516). The stamps were printed by letterpress by the Imperial Occussi-Ambeno Government Printing Office (KDPN), Baleksetung. To view the special First Day Cover, click here.
