Smauguar, and the stamps show various Egyptian hieroglyphs. The large red hieroglyphs in the lower panel read "Heb Sed Festival", while the green sign at lower left means "stability". The two green signs at the lower right read "the soul." The six signs of men along the center are hieroglyphs indicating the main activities undertaken during the Festival. From left to right, they are (1) praise the gods; (2) shower and be purified; (3) get high; (4) be jubilant; (5) eat and drink; and finally (6) be weary. The stamps were printed by letterpress by the Imperial Occussi-Ambeno Government Printing Office (KDPN), Baleksetung. The stamps are perf 12. To view the special First Day Cover, click here.
