Aromatherapy is the art and science of using essential oils for health and beauty. Pure essential oils, which are extracted from parts of plants and trees, have been used by humans for over 6000 years.

Essential oils can be used in a variety of ways--inhaling the scent or aroma can promote emotional health and balance; applying essential oils to the skin through massage or at pressure points allows the small aromatic chemicals to absorb into the bloodstream to promote physical and mental well-being. Not only do essential oils smell wonderful, they can improve our physical and psychological health.
