A Plea For Your $300
May I make a suggestion?
Give your $300 to the WORKING poor. They were totally left out of this government give-away. Shame on us. Shame on our government. This reminds me of Reagan’s trickle-down theory. Give money/benefits to rich people and it will be spent and “trickle-down” to the poor. It didn’t work. Instead Reagan, in a time when people, rich people, were making money hand-over-fist, declared ketchup a vegetable on school lunches and took away funding for arts programs, sports programs, and many after-school activities. Some school libraries went without bookshelves.
Now once again we have the GOP giving us a smokescreen. Their program is to give money to the wealthiest people in our nation. And you get $300 to buy more trinkets. DON’T BE MESMERIZED BY TRINKETS! That’s the trade off so you won’t recognize what is actually happening. Some of the wealthy people have actually protested AGAINST the program, but it has gone through. Shame on all of you who voted for it. Do you have a soul?
A nation is a NATION. Not a royalty made up of rich families and peons. You are destroying our country.
Force corporations to make money or die! Now there’s a thought. No more bail outs. No more big-business welfare. I don’t want my money to go to a corporation to supposedly create jobs for the people. Yes, its a good idea... JOBS! Yet the corps need too large of a profit factor to pay those bigboy, upper management salaries. Learn how to run a business!
My $300 is going to the WORKING poor. My idea is to allow the people who work hard at manual labor jobs, who slave themselves at small wage jobs to get by, to BUY A HOUSE! How’s that to stimulate the economy?
First you make the WORKING people proud. They will improve the real estate. They will want new curtains and a new refrigerator. They will circulate the money you give them back into the economy.
Second, you will make a stronger class structure. The parents will be happy, therefore creating happier children. The entire family will have a strong sense of community, the one that comes with home ownership. Neighborhoods of owner-inhabited homes are always safer communities. Crime goes down.
Third, it is a well-known fact that the safest loan anyone can make is a mortgage. People will eat hot dogs for a month to be able to make their payment, to save their HOME. All rich people are aware of that. So they are taking little risk with their money.
Fourth, and lastly, did you ever see the REAL amount you will pay on a 25 year mortgage. Pay attention at the closing. It is HUGE! Say a mortgage for $150,000...the REAL price you will end up paying (well this depends on the interest rate, but lets just take a median) will be like $$425,000!!!!!!! All of that money, the interest, goes to RICH people.
So there is my plan. We raise up the decent working poor and yes, all of you rich peeps still get yours.
Let’s try it and see what happens.

P.S. There is word now that you may not receive $300. Sorry. Plus what’s the GOP joke of sending out a letter announcing your rebate that cost MILLIONS$$$
NOTE TO ALL RICH PEEPS:Save your soul. Start a program yourself. Erase the blood on your money. Hell, you might even get a library named after you, you hero.
P.P.S. If the wealthy don’t want to give it up. Here’s my plan of revolt:Sell your house, if you have one. Create a revolution. Make them take notice. We can all become renters, or live in tents, or be hoboes. The GOP plan only works if people really need to make money. Our whole society would become destabilized. Let’s see how they handle that. Let’s see how LITTLE we actually need. Let’s go fishing.
