"My Sister Of Choice" I love you my sister of choice. When I met you I heard an angels voice. For my sister of choice is what I always wanted a sister to be like to me. Which makes you more special in every way then you realize that you could ever be. Because God let me choose you as a special sister for me Not a sister of blood. But one that has a heart as beautiful as my favorite colors yellow and pink flower buds. A sister of choice that I think of you as to be. A special sister that I chose just for me. For it is you that I chose. As I also feel that you have chosen me I send you this poem. So that you will know of how important that you are to me. Even though we don't talk as much as we use to do, because we are sometimes busy as a bee. But my thought's of you are not far from me. And never will be For you are locked in my heart. And I have thrown away the key. So in my heart is a special place that you can never get away from me. A special place that I know that you would want to be. Can you see now of how much your sisterly love means to me I will protect you there. With tender loving sister care. My sister of choice. God meant all along for me to put you there. As sure as he meant for us to be aware, Of each others pain that we sometimes have to bear. That we help each other with, Because we care. A sisterly love that we both know will always be there Thank you for agreeing to be my sister of choice. Knowing that you are there when I need you gives me something to rejoice. An angel in my heart whose words to me, are like a song that is sung with such a beautiful voice.
