A
Christmas Custom
by Mewsette

A
very old Christmas custom of going caroling, which began in
England long ago, is still done in many American towns. People
from Christian churches get together, put on their boots, coats
and hats, and go out on Christmas Eve to sing Christmas carols
as they walk from home to home. It's even better if there is
snow! They sing the lovely old carols, like Silent Night and
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (my fafurite), very loud and happily,
and it's a great blessing to all the neighborhoods lucky enough
to be visited!
