"Ceteris Paribus" is Latin for "all other things being equal". It's an assumption made by economists when
applying known rules or models to situations (eg, that an increase in price always causes a decrease in
demand), and is made simply because if it wasn't, then we wouldn't know where
we were and would get into a terrible mess. It's the reason (or one of them) that so much fun gets poked at
economists, but it is a very necessary assumption.
It could also be interpreted as soft socialism - all things equal, as in World Turned Upside Down.
For these reasons it has been chosen as the name of this mix - it reflects something of the giver and
of the receiver.
